Shared ledger
A real-time treasury balance and a ledger every member of your group can see: who paid, how much, when, and what for. Entries can’t be edited or deleted, and every change is on record.
For alumni, school, faith and community groups
Tribily helps alum associations, school year groups, churches, and community groups collect dues, raise money for members in need, and maintain a single shared ledger that every member can see. No spreadsheets. No screenshots. No commission on a single payment.
What a tribe means
The people who share your story and look out for one another. Your graduating class, your alum association, your church, your hometown union.
For generations, communities have pooled money to celebrate births and weddings and to carry each other through hard times. Tribily brings that tradition online, with a record everyone can trust.
In Tribily, a tribe is a community you choose, never an ethnic label.
A community of people, bound by a shared story and a shared commitment to look after one another.
How it works
Download Tribily, create your account, and register your group. Choose your country, and your group’s currency is set for you. Upload a document that shows your group is real, such as a constitution or registration certificate.
Our team reviews every group before it goes live, so members know the groups on Tribily are genuine. Once approved, your free 30-day trial starts straight away, with every feature included. Set up your dues, invite members, create campaigns, and connect your Stripe account.
Your group goes live as soon as Stripe is connected, even during the trial: members set up payment, auto-pay switches on, dues are collected, and donations open. Subscribe any time before day 30 to keep everything running without a break.
Dues are collected automatically, every payment appears in the shared ledger, and members are notified as money comes in. You can see at a glance who has paid and who still needs to set up payment.
Features
A real-time treasury balance and a ledger every member of your group can see: who paid, how much, when, and what for. Entries can’t be edited or deleted, and every change is on record.
Set your dues once. Tribily bills every member each month, takes payment automatically or with one tap on “Pay Now”, and updates balances instantly. Paid, pending, and overdue are clear for everyone.
Raise money for a member or a cause: a wedding, a new baby, an illness, a bereavement. Set a title, a target and an end date, and watch the progress bar fill as each contribution arrives. Campaign money is kept separate from dues.
Members can choose to give to a campaign anonymously. Other members see “Anonymous member”; only the group’s admins see who gave. Dues always show the member’s name.
Alerts in the app, by push and by email: new campaigns, payments in your group, failed payments with a “Pay Now” link, and reminders to set up payment. Members can mute group activity alerts any time.
Admins can download account statements to share at meetings, with anonymous gifts kept anonymous.
Invite members by link or email, manage roles, and see who hasn’t set up payment yet. Permissions are checked on our servers, not just in the app.
Every group is reviewed before it goes live, and each group’s records are completely separate. Members of one group can never see another group’s money.
Members can pay dues and give with mobile money through Paystack, alongside cards, for groups in African markets.
Each group keeps its books in its own currency, and members can see amounts in their preferred currency, wherever in the world they live.
Fair, structured loans from your group to its members, with clear terms and repayment tracking.
Every campaign has its own group chat and discussion board for updates and messages of support, with report and block tools.
The full ledger, charts, and one-click exports for admins and treasurers, on any computer. See the dashboard.
Treasurer web dashboard
Admins and treasurers sign in on any computer to see the balance, every payment, who has paid and where the money went. Export a statement for your next meeting in one click.

Why Tribily
Transparent for members, fair for everyone, and safe by design.
One shared ledger for the whole group. Everyone sees the same numbers, and nothing can be quietly changed.
No commission on any payment. Members never pay to join.
Verified groups, payments processed by Stripe (we never see full card numbers), encrypted data, and a permanent audit trail.
Campaigns that turn a group chat full of “how do I send money?” into organized support, in hours, not days.
