3 years ago today marks the start of OlinData, the parent company of Tribily. When I first started, OlinData was doing MySQL consulting, started from scratch.
We're pleased to inform you that our founder Walter Heck will be attending the Zabbix Conference 2011 on September 30th and October 1st in Riga, Latvia. The conference is about Zabbix, the Open Source technology that is at the base of Tribily's monitoring service, and offers a good opportunity to meet other people with lots of experience in the monitoring industry.
Next weekend, August 20th and 21st, our founder Walter is visiting the Free and Open Source Software Conference FrOSCon in Bonn, Germany. The computer science department of the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, supported by LUUSA and FrOSCon e.V. present an exciting program with talks, workshops and an exhibition the third weekend in August every year.
Database support company Open Query and IT start-up Tribily have combined forces and entered into a strategic partnership to offer clients the optimal conditions for maintaining their database infrastructure. Under the agreement of this partnership, clients that enter into a ProActive Support contract with Open Query will be provided with free server monitoring by Tribily for their entire database infrastructure, in order to ensure optimal workings and provide trend analysis and automated issue alerting capabilities.
A recently conducted survey by Tribily showed that its offer of Server Monitoring as a service can help customers alleviate their worries. Tribily, a self-funded Dutch IT startup, conducted a survey last year among visitors from websites like LinkedIn and IRC, and forums like Linode and WebHostingTalk to give their opinion on different subjects concerning server monitoring.
