Walter Heck

Walter, the founder of Tribily, is originally from the Netherlands. He came up with the idea for Tribily while doing consulting jobs, mainly focusing on Linux and MySQL for Tribily's parent project OlinData. Noticing the unfortunate trend of missing or limited monitoring, he found himself setting up monitoring systems over and over. Eventually he decided he would make life easier on himself and started Tribily, offering server monitoring as a service. Walter: "I love running Tribily! We're blessed with a very skilled, very multi-cultural team spread out all over the world." Walter's (and thereby Tribily's) goal is to monitor as many servers as possible while offfering a service that makes sysadmins all around the world sleep well at night.
Srikrishna Das
Srikrishna Das (better-known as 'Krish') is from India. He mixes multiple roles like system administrator, consultant, hacker, devops, comic artist, game designer and entrepreneur. His role at Tribily is best described as technical problem solver: we have a problem, Krish can solve it. He's the founder of
http://mukt.in/ - a Free & Open Source Software event series in India. Absolutely allergic to dirty office politics, he finds peace in Tribily's egalitarian and transparent work ethics. When he is not working, he is either fantasizing about sports cars or pampering his herd of cavia porcellus. His belief in benevolence is one of many traits that he shares with Tribily's founder.
Nicole Horstman
Nicole is from The Netherlands as well, currently living in Amsterdam and loving it there. Having a background in communications, she joined Tribily in 2011 to help improve the website and write and send out press releases and newsletters. Besides that she helps out with all kinds of communication and marketing related stuff. “I like working for Tribily, because it’s so versatile. I get to be involved with everything that has to do with communications and also a bit of marketing, which I think is great.” In her free time, Nicole likes to spend time with friends, go to concerts, play drums and cook and/or bake all kinds of food.
